Corbridge Orthodontics Rallies Around the Ronald McDonald House This Halloween
Fall is a wonderful time of the year. The autumn leaves are changing; the weather is getting a bit nippier, and let’s not forget one of the most important parts of the fall season, Halloween. Candy, costumes, and of course, pumpkins; all traditional staples to this festive holiday, Dr. Corbridge and the team wanted to assist in these traditions for those who are less fortunate. That’s why last month Dr. Corbridge and staff worked together with surrounding doctors in the community to help support the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas with some beautifully decorated pumpkins.
The plan was to drop off undecorated pumpkins at the offices of doctors around the community with some art kits. Once completed Dr. Corbridge and the rest of his orthodontic staff would go around, collecting these newly painted pumpkins, and donate them to the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas for their Halloween Bash. From spooky themes to our favorite movie characters, these offices really outdid themselves this year, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Together with the help of Teen Team, Young Friends Group, Cops & Kids organization, and many other affiliated groups, the Ronald McDonald House worked to put on one of the best Halloween Bashes yet! Seeing the smiles of all the children who attended this event made all the “hard work” we put in totally worth it. We were so thrilled to be a part of an event like this, and would love to help out again some time in the future. If you have any questions about participating in an event like this, or would just like to help volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, we highly encourage and recommend it! Thanks for reading and we’ll talk to you soon!

Giving Back to Patients across Frisco, Little Elm, & Prosper
At Corbridge Orthodontics, our patients are like our family. We go above and beyond to keep our patients happy and make them smile. Dr. Jared K. Corbridge and his staff strive to fulfill this goal, and in addition to giving them the smile of their dreams, we decided to show all of our patients how much we appreciate them. On July 15, 2015, patients in Frisco, Prosper, and Little Elm, TX brought their friends and families to our Frisco, TX office, and joined us for a day filled with face painting, caricatures, and snow cones perfect for a hot summer day!
Snow Cones & Face Paint
It was a huge turnout! Our office was jam-packed with patients of all ages and their families. It was a great chance for our patients to come together as a community and enjoy themselves while making friends. There was a face painter and a caricature artist who excited the patients with their amazing talent. The face painter painted a wide variety of paintings from dinosaurs to butterflies to scary faces, and the caricature artist quickly drew amazing pictures of the patients. To make this event more bearable in the Texas heat, there was a snow cone truck parked right outside for everyone to enjoy. Plus, snow cones are braces friendly! Our patients were beyond thrilled by this event and it was a major success!
Patients, Great Smile!
We thank you all for being such amazing patients and giving Corbridge Orthodontics the opportunity to give you your dream smile. As your local Frisco, TX orthodontist, our team provides patients with a wide range of treatments, such as braces & Invisalign, which straightens your teeth and gives you confidence. Look Into Orthodontic Treatment this Summer in Frisco, TX
As summer quickly approaches, it is the perfect time to start orthodontic treatment. Whether your child just finished their first year at Folsom Elementary or they are making the major transition to Prosper High School in the fall, summer provides an ideal period that makes the adjustment to braces, Invisalign, or other orthodontic treatment much easier. Here at Corbridge Orthodontics, we want our patients to be as comfortable and cared for as possible, and to have the knowledge that we can assist them in any way. Our mission is helping achieve dental goals through creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
Why Do Parent’s Start Orthodontics in the Summer?
We know that it takes some time and effort to grow accustomed to the new appliances that our patients are sporting. We often find that parents opt for their children to begin orthodontic treatment during the summer because they can be around more for them during a new stage in their lives. Also, kids will appreciate getting used to their braces without everyone at school seeing their new gear all at once. Braces can cause some soreness or discomfort, so we want to help mitigate that as much as possible in our younger patients, and not have it coincide with the stresses of school, homework, and tests. Plus summer is a great time for ice cream or milkshakes to help soothe any aches or soreness! Additionally, there is plenty of time to see your local Frisco orthodontist because schedules are so open and free. Even though summer is our busiest time, we promise to work around your schedule.

Dr. Corbridge Donates Orthodontic Treatment to Underprivileged Youths
This month, Dr. Corbridge participated in an inspirational community outreach event hosted by the charity, Give Kids a Smile. For those who might not be aware, Give Kids a Smile is associated with the American Dental Association (ADA) and works with them to make sure all standards are met during these occasions. The purpose of this event was to provide free dental examinations and treatment to the children of low-income families. Dr. Corbridge attended this event and granted one lucky child full orthodontic treatment, including braces and retainers, absolutely free!
While Give Kids a Smile, in association with the ADA, hosted this event, this function would not be possible without the support and cooperation of the community at large. Dentists, orthodontists, and other oral care professionals all volunteer their time and expertise to help better the smiles and lives of children who would otherwise be unable to afford such treatment. Dr. Corbridge’s role at this event was to give complimentary orthodontic screenings and special consultations to the children in the area and assist in improving the overall oral health of each participating child.
Beyond simple treatment, dentists and orthodontists like Dr. Corbridge also see this as an opportunity to educate families, and children in particular, about proper oral care. Dental and dietary information, caring for your orthodontic braces, and basic oral hygiene were all topics discussed at this event.
Shown to the right is a picture of Dr. Corbridge with a lovely young lady whom he had the pleasure of meeting at this event. During her consultation, it was revealed to her that she would receive full orthodontic treatment from start to finish, at no charge! With a beaming smile, she was extremely grateful to Dr. Corbridge for this opportunity.
Find Out How You Can Get Involved
As the many participants of the event will tell you, it’s not simply about the treatment; it’s about the children and their smiles. It truly warmed our hearts to see the children and their healthy smiles after this type of event, and this is one that we at Corbridge Orthodontics look forward to participating in again. If you would like to learn more about this charity and see how you can help out too, feel free to visit Give Kids a Smile on the web and learn more.
December 17th, 2014
It’s that time of year for holiday parties, family gatherings, and cheer! Unfortunately, many parents this season won’t have the means to provide their families with a warm meal. Corbridge Orthodontics wanted to give back to the communities that have given us so much and assist less fortunate families during this Holiday Season.
From mid November until Decmeber 11th, we collected 210 food items that we donated to Frisco Family Services and Frisco FastPacs. Frisco Family Services is a 20 year old institution that helps members of the community that are facing hunger and other life challenges improve their quality of life and become self sufficient. FastPacs is a local organization that is dedicated to ending childhood hunger in the area. Patients received one Corbridge Coin for every five items they brought into our office.
We could not be prouder of our patients, their families, staff, and other members of the community that have contributed to our effort to make the lives of those less fortunate a little bit easier during the Holidays. Although we did not reach our initial goal of 500 food items, we still made a real impact on many people’s lives and have something to shoot for next year’s drive.
From everyone at Corbridge Orthodontics, Happy Hollidays!
